This is classic typography with a contemporary twist, designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune in collaboration with graphic design and branding agency BrittonBritton*. The digits 0–9 were originally designed as room numbers for the five-star Nobis Hotel** in Stockholm. They work equally well for the number of your house on your street. The feature is a tiny, yet very conscious, mismatch in size which stresses the natural variation of fired ceramics. Comes with mounting instructions. Available in semi-gloss cream white.
* Christina and Claes Britton are well-known media-making eminences in the Swedish capital and also long-time friends of Mårten Claesson, Eero Koivisto and Ola Rune. Between 1993 and 2002 Britton & Britton published the now legendary lifestyle magazine named Stockholm New – “The most clever and attractive magazine of the decade” according to Tyler Brûlé (founding editor-in-chief of Wallpaper and Monocle magazines).
** The contemporary-eccentric luxury Nobis Hotel was entirely designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune in 2010.
